That reminds me of a joke about a driver who listens to the radio "Be careful! A crazy is driving on the wrong side!"; he says "Just one? I have found many crazy people who were driving on the wrong side of the road in the last 5 minutes".

I feel horrible for asking — but he’s really damaging the site at the moment :-/

Agreed, and that’s why I say it despite feeling mean for doing so. But I don’t like things like banning, and really wish they were never necessary… so I still feel mean for supporting them.

We can start flagging his comments, when they are noise, offensive, or spam.

The fact he linked the word to the definition of acronyms doesn't make it less offensive; the acronyms were not related with what he was saying.

@FX_: I vote to close when it’s noise or off-topic; I downvote when it’s any of those, or low-quality. I’m reluctant to ever flag, because I think of that as a last resort, only for very serious offensiveness (racism, etc.); though I know in .se we’re encouraged to flag a bit more liberally than on other systems.

But I don’t think it’s redundant to downvote as well as voting to close, flagging, etc. Downvoting is the one thing which impacts his rep, and so leaves a permanent message.

For his questions, there are no problems. Flagging his comments when they need to be flagged is like voting for his comments as "off-topic".
