As you know, that would be OT as a question. As for a useful person... I really don't know. David Dwyer is a retired prof. from Michigan State U who works in Mande. Chris Green at Syracuse has done Bambara which is somewhat close. I do not know anyone who is active in that language – too many languages, too few people getting hired to work on them.
