this version of Rarity does not have legs. That could mean these versions of the character aren't supposed to be used anywhere but on the border of the picture frame.

and that could mean they are there to comment on the story

If that is what is happening, I could accept it - especially if they are going to make snarky comments about their counterparts

(like "WHAT WAS I EVEN THINKING")

the reason I think they COULD be doing that is that it would give a sort of "blog" feeling to the video

like the poines edited the original video to add their thoughts

@Zoe That looks like a toy that depicts a spray bottle that Rarity uses to wet the clothes when she's ironing them. The song in S1 E14 suggests that she uses a clothes iron. Except this one has the tip of a unicorn horn growing from it as a gimmick.

@Derpy They say hair in MLP: FiM episodes too sometimes. S1 E6 when Trixie colors Rarity's hair green may be the best example. I think they usually say "mane" when it includes their tail, "hair" when it only includes the colored stuff on their head and neck.
