my personal view: discourage nastiness but actively encourage 'tough love' — any complaints about the latter should be taken with a pinch of salt. Putting a 'nice' veneer on everything just moves conflicts to a different sphere — tough love addresses the root problem rather than hiding it or papering over the cracks.
"You need to think of Larry Ellison the way you think of a lawnmower. You don’t anthropomorphize your lawnmower, the lawnmower just mows the lawn, you stick your hand in there and it’ll chop it off, the end. You don’t think ‘oh, the lawnmower hates me’ — lawnmower doesn’t give a shit about you, lawnmower can’t hate you. Don’t anthropomorphize the lawnmower. Don’t fall into that trap about Oracle."
It’s not odd. I can plug my really nice portable laptop into an enclosure with 1 cable & have everything (monitor, GPU, keyboard, mouse, external HDD, camera) connected, plus charge. I can game properly on it, amongst other things. Works amazingly well, all plug & play
@Philᵀᴹ I'm not a gamer, my Macs drive my monitors just fine for graphics work. At the office I have one of these so everything is connected through one cable: shop.caldigit.com/us/index.php?route=product/…
At home I use a Mac Pro, so it's already always connected by definition.
@Philᵀᴹ I did not have good luck, I installed the previous beta and it knocked out my version of Photoshop (it was ancient). I had a few other minor issues and the next update bricked my Mac Pro.
So, back to Mojave, and I'll wait a while before Catalina
