@Marc-Andre Having visited Notre Dame last summer, it was absolutely stunning to see the damage done. Reading that article was shocking - we climbed the north tower, crossed the upper level walkway then climbed further in the South tower and had our picture taken in front of the two bells there. The opposite (minus the pictures) of the route the firefighters took.
That's a long bloody hike up those ancient, stone spiral stairs! I did it in shorts and a t-shirt carrying a little point 'n shoot camera. I can't imagine hauling all the equipment up there that those guys (and gals) had to carry.
@Marc-Andre After the explosion at Chernobyl, they used dosimeters that were only capable of measuring up to 3.6 roentgens, so some stubborn people refused to believe that something was horribly wrong. The actual value was at least 10 000 roentgens. Everything caused by a whole bunch of human errors.
I can highly recommend the TV-series, it's only 5 episodes.
@Marc-Andre Stating where something is at and what's wrong is important. "Why are you always so explicit in your instructions to me? Don't you think I can understand you?" "Nope."
@Phrancis You'll enjoy this one. I get to spearhead cyber security training and awareness. I guess that's a good thing. Unless all I really want to do is code.
