@LarrySnyder610 you could, but overasking reduces one's chances of getting anything; while making your request smaller increases your chances of getting equal or more. Better to ask for the ability to add any additional pages plus the one page we want now. That way we get the one page plus a few more that are exactly what is needed after there's a Meta to discuss exactly what the contents (and way to divide it up) is agreed upon.

@LarrySnyder610 Which page(s) from which site(s) do you plan on using as templates for any additional Help pages (other than MWE)?

1:53 AM
@Rob I was planning to suggest on Meta that we add 3 pages to the Help/Asking page: (1) MCVE (or.meta.stackexchange.com/q/191/38), (2) How to ask a homework question (or.meta.stackexchange.com/a/155/38), (3) What makes a good help-me-with-my model question (or.meta.stackexchange.com/a/111/38)
Does that answer your question?

Yes, #2 &3 are original (not from elsewhere), and we'll tweak #1 to make it better (more applicable) for our site. Looks like a great start @LarrySnyder610.

@Rob I tweaked #1 already; see the link.
You think it's too much to ask for all 3 of these, or it's OK?

✔️
It's more than others have asked for.

@LarrySnyder610 You could just have one page and on that page have links on the page. Example Software Recs - "Question Quality Guidelines", Cross Validated - "self study" and "somewhat special treatment", Unix & Linux - "strongly discouraged", and even
SO - "shortest program necessary to reproduce the problem before posting", "describe the problem", "Super User", "Server Fault", etc. --- Click those links and search for the text in the quotes, to see how a single page can lead to a Wiki-style Q&A on our site which we can edit at any time without bugging the Moderator or RobC.
Those half dozen pages could be made into a dozen paragraphs on a single webpage which pointed to a few dozen Q&A's on our Meta. That permits dozens of Help pages to be compressed into a single Help page and for everyone with editing privileges to contribute to mashing-up a comprehensive FAQ List.

@Rob OK, that makes sense. So there is a main "What questions can I ask?" page that provides guidance about a bunch of these issues and then links to other subpages.

@LarrySnyder610 Not that I'm aware of. You would want to look at your three links, my three links (in comment a few before this one), and on one of the 'Computer Related' sites there's a "If you have this question 'X' go here 'Y' " type of Q&A/FAQ/HelpPage that offers a short directory of sites for various categories of questions (so off topic questions won't be asked) - I looked for it the other day but couldn't find it. --- Like any good mashup one has to do their own mashing.

@Rob Right, sorry, I wasn't asking if the page exists already, I was just clarifying that that's what we'd be aiming to create -- a main "what can I ask?" page that points to a bunch of others.
Instead of listing all of those other subpages here: or.stackexchange.com/help/asking

@Yes. I think we'll have to, as the other Rob will be wondering otherwise.

@LarrySnyder610 I found that page I was looking for, it probably would be helpful to add a paragraph to your page and link to: meta.stackexchange.com/a/129632/282094 - Adding text something like: "If you have a question make sure, ..., and these sort of questions are best asked on this or that site ..." --- I made sure that OR was on the list.
