But I wouldn't even remotely call that "confirmation".

For reference: "Clear sleep-deprived head. Rising Monday. Energy definitely impaired. (8)" => DEFO[rest] ("clear" as in trees, "sleep-deprived") + R[ising] M[onday] E[nergy] D[efinitely]

Does your own clue inspire you? :)

Q: Find the unknown area, x

Q: Loosen the "no suspension in the past year" requirement for nominees, or at least listen to the community

Meta Bug WizardRecently on Physics SE there's been a dramatic election, where the only 40-scored and top nominee was banned from nominating due to their suspension in the last year, which created a dense wave of confusion in the community. (more) This is not the first time I've learned that the "suspension-fre...

Q: Uh oh, the propeller fell off

SlowMagicI was rummaging through a trunk in the attic when I found this vintage game. It is some sort of pinwheel or propeller mounted on a board. @Randal'Thor yes. Thank you. I had gotten the relevant link from Deus.
(And fwiw, I think they should be merged.)

@Deusovi Agreed with Gareth. Not only is more general than , but even the tag wikis reflect that: "specifics that may not be common knowledge" covers trivia too, but "topics of popular culture" doesn't necessarily cover all knowledge puzzles.
(I'd say do keep them both as synonyms though.)

@Randal'Thor I don't understand- so someone got suspended from a different se site and then wasn't allowed to run for candidacy? All these politics are hurting my head
