Oh yea it is! That was a really awesome idea

Oh man, it seems that the gaming industry (at least the big companies) are in some sort of stagnation

There was this issue with the lootboxes, and now more issues seem to surface

@Keale thye more issues being that the AAA companies report record revenue yet are laying off employees because it's still not enough because they are expected to infinitely grow

I guess that's one of the reasons why the companies seem to be getting greedier

though it does not justify them getting greedier

@Keale ofcause not and it looks as if they are getting to the peak unless they start doing all games as individual subscription live services with loot box micro-transactions and destroy all non-conforming products (ie. indies)

I think indies cannot be destroyed, unless some sort of law is introduced or something

gacha works so well on Japanese (or at least Asian) games

I wonder why it doesn't on the Western ones

loot box is similar if not equivalent to gacha right?

@Keale in some it's because the rates are altered in the english version, and also in Japan they would obviously exists in a way that skirts gambling regulation like with Pachinko machines

@Memor-X I read all fifteen volumes of Tuxedo Gin from the time I sent that first message about it to 'bout five minutes beofre I sent that one.

@Memor-X So-so. Its biggest fault was that it didn't really do enough to establish itself, and by the time it tries to fix that problem it's way too late. Each subplot is interesting, but don't really integrate into what little of the main plot there is very well.
