I can't find why it shouldn't be, but it really looks like a) it is none of OP's business and b) OP rather is asking how to convince her not doing it, rather than "How to tell her it sin't a good idea?" But I can't really explain why I see it that way, so I don't feel like I could leave a comment.
+1 you can even just say something like "I don't really have time to prepare for a big game so I'll bring just some small ones, right?" This way they won't feel a bit awkward about (probably unknowingly) causing you so much work, but the message still gets through. — Neinstein45 secs ago
I'm curious, are there any "terms of endearment" that you just hate being called? For example, it drives me crazy when people call me buddy. It's usually people that don't know me very well, so I should give them some slack, but it really bothers me.
@Rainbacon It's an assumption about your age and marital situation at the same time. Now people should only use "madam" (equivalent of Ms) but old habits die hard ;)
That's how I feel about "buddy". It seems like a word you'd use for a child. I've always felt as if people who call me that view me as being childish in some way (probably due to my autism)
@Rainbacon My manager at my previous work use to call me "Nono the little robot" sometimes (because of my name + a reference to cartoon). It felt really belittling to me

@Rainbacon haha wow that's quite a bit of caffeine. I drank just 4-5 oz of coffee and the diuretic effect was really hard on my stomach.... that's one of the reasons why i don't drink that much caffeine

I guess I'm clueless about making a poster for "poster day" here at the school, like a formal research poster- but the thing is my poster is just listing stuff I did, not really any research thing- just what did I do within my internship

I see the interest in the framework, but I feel that it's unnecessarily complicated. But again, I don't know why the heck did I end up becoming a software engineer ^^
@avazula No, he is only here on person Tuesday and Wednesday but I'm not sure I will tell him this week. I think I will still wait a little (a week) and see how it goes. I'm feeling better than last week but it might only be because it's Monday (so I have a lot of energy from the weekend). Plus, I will see my doctor next Monday, so I will have more data if I decide to wait for next week before talking to my manager
Not really. I graduated an Electronics and Embedded systems engineer, but I don't know how I became an engineer in the first place. Back at the beginning of my studies, I wanted to graduate and go abroad with engineers without borders. Now I write code for companies whose aim is to suppress thousands of jobs (without creating new, more interesting ones). That's rough.

@ElizB I must say, I'm sooooooo glad I'm finally done with school. But now I have nightmares about it where: "Surprise, it's wasn't really over!" (school wasn't that bad, but my last 3 years wasn't the greatest one)

Man, I *still* have nightmares about not really being done with school. Like...I have nightmares that apparently I didn't actually graduate high school, so every credit to my college degree was invalid, and so not only do I have to repeat one semester of high school for some reason, I also have to repeat *all* of college.
I also have the occasional nightmare about 'just' not having finished college. In both nightmares I get fired for misrepresenting myself on my resume so really that's nightmarish enough.

I've blundered into making off-color jokes after failing to read the room before, and am very glad that someone felt comfortable enough to correct me for it. And I've sat there and laughed and failed to consider that someone I wasn't particularly watching was hurt by something that someone else said jokingly, too.
