@Zanna Just wait for Disco Dingo then
@Zanna Janitoring is tough job though

7:36 AM
@Kulfy haha why would that help?

@Zanna New version new bugs new questions ;-)

8:12 AM
@Kulfy those aren't the kind of questions I answer though
I don't know about DEs and version-specific stuff
@Natty why

@Zanna The NAA Value is 3.5. The explanation for the filters is:
2.0 - Contains Blacklisted Word - this tutorial
1.0 - Contains ?
-0.5 - Low Length
0.0 - IntelliBL - 0.0
1.0 - Low Rep

@Zanna Oh I see

@Natty fp
I do have a tag bage for 16.04 though haha
but that's just because version tags are used in a mostly meaningless way

I don't have any tag badge so far

I used to follow a few people like terdon in arguing that version tags were completely useless, but now I just let it slide. I tend to think it might be better to just version-tag everything with a different purpose to the way most other tags are used. They are still useful in some way. I think also terdon very much underestimates the version-specificity of questions. Quite a lot changes from version to version as well as a lot staying the same.
@Kulfy but your top tag is haha that always happens when someone is answering a wide range of questions. They are an "expert" in the version haha. I guess that's one of the reasons people think version tags are not useful
you can choose to track a tag badge instead of privileges on your profile btw

@Zanna Actually I joined AU after 18.04 released and after that I could only see questions for 18.04. May be that's why.
@Zanna I know but as this point of time privileges are important LOL

@Kulfy yes, it just means you have answered a lot of questions in the recent period when 18.04 is the most asked-about version. Those questions are about all topics, many not version-specific
it's just that people put version tags on everything
that's how I got 16.04 badge even though I mostly answered questions about command line

@Zanna But sometimes I believe it's hard to determine "Is this question version specific?"

@Kulfy sure... totally up to you! but you can see when you'll get privileges on the help center page as you know, and easily memorise them because there are not that many... but you can only see how close you are to tag badges in the tag-badge tracker, so I find it way more interesting even on sites where I'm below the level of some interesting privileges
@Kulfy agree totally - there is a small degree of version specificity in the vast majority of questions, and that is often overlooked by people who argue against version tags

8:49 AM
@Zanna Version tags don't make me excited at this point of time since I'm very far from that GOLD badge. Once I get silver then it may be worth tracking. Just my opinion.
@Zanna Yeah indeed

gold badges are always very far away haha. I just love tag badges

Yeah I know

@Kulfy Just so you know, the purpose of the [1] after an HTML image string in markdown text seems redundant, but when the inline image is reduced in size it provides a link to the original larger image by clicking the middle mouse button, which is helpful when viewing images that contain very small or unreadable text.

9:12 AM
@karel Yeah you are right. But if you are referring to your answer, I thought the image size is appropriate and fonts are visible too and there is no need to keep that link so I removed that. If you think that action was inappropriate you can roll back my edit :)

that text is very small on my tiny screen haha

I don't think it's inappropriate in this case, so you don't need to roll back anything. In general I always link to the original images in order to accommodate users who are viewing the site from their phones. For example if the user can't access Ask Ubuntu from the computer because there's a boot problem

@karel Oh I see.

@Zanna I don't think that's off-topic. That's neither version specific too. It has 9 anony upvotes too

Ah I am afk but I will talk about bugs when I get a chance

Actually there are lot many questions like this. For example, askubuntu.com/questions/1098668 askubuntu.com/questions/1105383 which can be considered as duplicate of askubuntu.com/questions/567331
