@StackExchange Specifically, I've added parsha.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default/-/sources as a feed. It is published weekly (and if that changes we can always drop the feed from appearing here) and is good source material on the parsha, and, more relevantly in this chat room, for good source material for our weekly parsha chat. If anyone thinks this is annoying, or sets a bad precedent, or is otherwise a Bad Thing, please speak up. (Also if you think it's a Good Thing, I'd like to know.)
Certainly if there are enough people who think it's a Bad Thing, or more in that camp than in the Good-Thing camp, the feed can be dropped from appearing here. Right now it's a trial. (It should first appear next Monday, I suppose.)

@ShmuelBrin Seems you have the highest voted comment on mi.yodeya judaism.stackexchange.com/questions/13447/…
@msh210 questions get twice as many downvotes per question as and 3.5 times as many as . (Source)

I probably won't be able to see responses to these before this evening, but here goes:
@Alex and @dave , could one or both of you please orient your devar Torah for the Launch party toward divrei beracha / lechaim? (and ping @msh210, who'll be reading Dave's)
@Alex, Is it true that you have ready-made game materials, something along the lines of "What is the common denominator between these three things?"? If so, could you please email them to WAF? I'm thinking that a quick game like that could work with people calling in, along the lines of "Before you go, do you know the answer to __?"
More on Meta later, but here's where we are: The panel has one member: R' Gil Student. I'm going to talk to him about finalizing the title, then make a Meta post (probably tonight) with party details and ask Jin to design an ad. We'll ask the community to send the ad out to their social networks and blogger friends after Shavu'ot, during the week leading up to the party.

This is a cool site: sefaria.org
I'm not sure if it is the same one that Chaim Rosenberg from Hebrewbooks.org is promoting, but I definitely can foresee this becoming a great resource.

2:27 PM
I.e., the same translation he is promoting

3:02 PM
@ShmuelBrin Yes, I figured that wouldn't hurt. :-)

@IsaacMoses I was actually planning more something about the value of a tzibbur. Would that work?
@IsaacMoses I sent them to WAF shortly after the last discussion.

Q: What happened to seeing deleted Q&As?

Seth JIn the past I could see deleted posts, both questions and answers, because I had reached a certain (pretty low, actually) threshold of points. Now I can't see any of them anymore. Did the threshold get raised? Are only moderators allowed to see these now? Are they now completely removed and delet...

Q: Can the public status of Mi Yodeah be revoked?

asifahnikDoes this site need to continuously meet any sort of metrics or threshold in order to remain public?

@Alex Sure! We can say lechaim at the end, right?
@Alex Thanks!

Q: Launch Party ad

Isaac MosesCould Jin please design an ad for our Launch Party, along the lines of the text below? (Jin and the community should feel free to edit the text.) The main ad we need would be an image suitable for pasting into blog posts and emails. Secondarily, it would be nice to have an 8X11.5" PDF for pr...
