Replaced stock intake fans in my desktop with @Noctua_at NF-A14 PWM fans a week ago. Even at 140mm, turbulence noise can be significant with ordinary case fans. The #Noctua fans let me dial up the speeds for better airflow with less noise. 👍 #quietpc #pcbuild

FWIW I recently replaced a (non-Noctua, non-PWM) 140mm case fan as it started making noise with another one recommended by silentpc, I am also happy :)

In chilly winters, I often wonder if I could somehow take advantage of the extreme cold outside and get rid of all cooling on my PC.

Though I've been very happy with Noctua in the past, I went with Nanoxia as they were significanly cheaper and money is tight (possibly false economy over lifetime of something like a fan, but hey)

The CAT6 cable is the only thing I can extend. Keyboard, mouse, HDMI and USB cables are far more difficult.

Finally, I need to install a custom cable for turning the box on and off. But I am no electrical engineer. My most extensive training is about saying "No" to people who demand to see the server room.

Actually, I can configure the firmware to boot upon receiving power flow. Then I will use the "Shutdown" command for turning off and the surge protector switch for turning on.

If it's something you're seriously intent on, you could find a scrapped PC and test on that

Quick question on a script you sent me. I'll post the script below, but what it's supposed to do is disable SNMP status on all the printer ports. When I call the .CMD file from my Powershell script, it does run the file, but then it breaks on the last port. In this case, IP_192.168.0.20. Even though the console window says it has been updated, it still has SNMP enabled. If I re-run the script, then it works correctly

Could be lack of exercise. Bad sleep patterns. High cholesterol. Stress. Could be anything. Heck, could be all of those combined.
