@Dennis Wait wait, why do you just randomly have Firefox 37 on your computer? I'm pretty sure you can't download it anymore.

@Pavel Of course you can still download it. But I didn't have to. The script changed from X() to if (Y() == false) X();, so if it used to work but doesn't now, Y() must mistakenly return true in FF37.

@MDXF Instead of syncing the whole filesystem, only sync the files related to the language.
@Dennis can you add C++ with ecpp?

Leo
@Dennis Could you pull Husk, please?

9 hours later…
12:40 PM
@Leo Done.

1:08 PM
@MDXF make fails because there's no out/ directory. More importantly, I can't seem to get ecpp itself to work. Calling it with examples/pow.c gives the following output.
#include <stdio.h>
#include <math.h>

int main(int argc, char ** argv)
{
The rest is missing.

@Dennis Is each command a second post request?

6:57 PM
@SocraticPhoenix No, it's one single request.

Okay; I'm looking back at the original message chain; that ought to be good enough, thanks!

7:09 PM
@Dennis Does this formatting look right? gist

7:20 PM
@SocraticPhoenix You need to write another null byte after the length.

ah okay
in both cases?

Yes, the length needs to be null-terminated.
Also, the length is sent in decimal. I don't understand Java well enough to know if you're doing that.

decimal, as in floating point? Yeah I'm not doing that... I will now though :)
wait... is it in a byte-format or just decimal text @Dennis?

I believe he means the number as a string?

7:35 PM
@SocraticPhoenix A decimal string representation, e.g., the string 123.

1 hour later…
8:48 PM
Gonna hazard a guess that sNI)*(2 = is wrong...
@Dennis does the response have to be inflated?
hum... java is producing deflations with what appear to be headers

9:07 PM
@Dennis does the response have to be inflated?

9:19 PM
lol i guess it does; thanks for your help it appears to be working now
I guess my expansive 4-class Java API for making TIO calls is done... example... now to implement some clever front end or maybe just let the API rot on my hard drive...

@Dennis could you pull Add++ please?

1 hour later…
10:41 PM
@cairdcoinheringaahing Done.

@Dennis Can you pull Charcoal? Thanks

@ASCII-only Done.

@Dennis Would you mind changing the Add++ Hello, World! to this, after pulling it once more?

10:57 PM
@cairdcoinheringaahing Done and done.

@Dennis Thanks and Thanks
