[raises eyebrow] I dunno, that kinda depends on the community's ability to handle it maturely without diving into the deep end of the Freeze Peach pool.
Neither puritanism nor permissiveness is a good look for a Stack site.
Not sure if this kind of question is allowed here, but I’m looking for the title of a book I read as a kid.
It’s about a civilization of little people who live inside a tree, kind of like Terry Prattchett’s Carpet people, just on a tree.
@Mithrandir A common trend I've seen on Stack metas is for a user to cite how very old posts were handled, saying that a new post should be given the same treatment. The response of a mature community is usually "Hey, you're right, our new policies should be applied to old posts!" [old post gets changed]
But on communities that have bought into precedential rulings...
The first verse My Thanksgiving by Don Henley (from Inside Job) reads as follows:
A lot of things have happened
Since the last time we spoke
Some of them are funny
Some of 'em ain't no joke
And I trust you will forgive me
If I lay it on the line
I always thought you were a friend ...
@Ash The absolute ones are the black ones on the left, the trade paperbacks are on the right. There are 5 absolutes (one appears taken right now), while there are 10 trade paperbacks
Plus the absolutes are bigger, and seem to contain extra goodies, like extra art and so forth.

@Gallifreyan yeah, looking on wikipedia, it says " Each is presented in a hardcover, dustjacketed and slipcased edition with cloth bookmark consisting of one or more books which include restored, corrected and recolored versions of the original work, reprinted at 8 inches by 12 inches. Also included are supplemental materials regarding the creation of the work, including sketches, comic scripts and memos."
