12:00 AM
@ASCII-only Syncing.

12:43 AM
@Dennis can you add BeanShell?

1 hour later…
1:46 AM
@Dennis Can you pull Charcoal?

Thanks!

For whatever reason, it was already installed.

2:01 AM
@Dennis rpm -q --whatrequires beanshell and rpm -q --whatrequires bsh both give nothing, so you must have manually installed it at some point.
Huh

Seams to come with Apache commons.

Huh
Oh hey, I just hit 2nd place for "Frequently in room"

@Dennis Can I please get another MaybeLater pull..?

2:27 AM
@ATaco I can't right now, but (•_•) / ( •_•)>⌐■-■ / (⌐■_■) maybe later.

@ATaco ChatCommands request ^

@ATaco Done.

2:43 AM
@Dennis Thanks

3:17 AM
@Dennis Can you pull charcoal again? thanks

(•_•) / ( •_•)>⌐■-■ / (⌐■_■) Charcoal

@ASCII-only Syncing.

3:33 AM
@Dennis (I knew I should have waited) can you pull Cubically again? bugs that are mostly fixed that require immediate fixing on TIO

@MDXF Syncing.

Thanks a ton
My interpreter has been a real struggle lately...

@Dennis Can you pull again? just saw some bugs Neil pointed out haha
@ATaco ?????

> dome bugs
um

@Dennis ok random thing: how much does TIO cost to run per month

3:41 AM
@Dennis why isn't your name italicized in this room?

@ASCII-only Syncing.

Does it have to do with being a moderator?

@MDXF Probably because mod permissions > RO permissions anyway

Yeah that's my guess

Afaik my name isn't italicized in any room.

3:42 AM
Yeah, I kno... wait which other rooms are you a RO in?

TNB
Jelly

Oh yeah
@Dennis So that is because of being a mod?

Yes.

Cool

A: Chat owner's name not in italics

Shadow WizardAs this other answer mentions correctly, the reason is the user is both moderator and room owner. While I agree the expected behavior for a user who is both moderator and room owner is to have the name both blue and in italics, I'm not sure it's really needed. Being a moderator "overrides" bein...

3:46 AM
@ASCII-only $ 25 in servers per month plus $ 46.32 in domains per year, for a total of $ 28.86 per month.

Wow

I can't tell if that's a lot or not that much >_>

That sounds expensive but for how awesome TIO is it seems relatively small
@Dennis since when does your bio say With great power comes great eleven and why XD

@MDXF Since a few years ago

Seriously?
I never noticed
Wow am I really that unattentive that I always thought it said responsibility... lol

3:50 AM
I haven't even been a mod for a few years, but at least for a year now.
Eleven became a synonym for mod abuse in TNB.

sorry wasn't thinking

It's surprisingly hard to get dates straight unless you can look them up or have point of reference.

4:27 AM
@Dennis don't be silly a mod cannot be abused. he is a heavenly being, I'm not sure if those even have feelings.
or you mean when mod abuses others
yep! that's totaly fine then! that's what they are for! ;)

@AndrewSavinykh that
I think
in The Nineteenth Byte, Jul 29 at 5:45, by Mego
We all know Dennis is great, but referring to him as a deity might be taking things a bit too far

humans!

@Dennis would it be easier for you to pull Cubically now and then potentially (with a very low likelyhood, I might be done for the night) pull again at 10:30-ish? Or to just schedule a pull at 10:30
The bugs are finally all squashed into pulp
But TehPers has already implemented lots of things in his experimental interpreter that I need to get around to adding into the official one

@Dennis Not sure if anyone has asked about this, but is it possible to add Deadfish~ to Tio? It's for the polyglot. https://github.com/craigmbooth/deadfish
@Dennis can you add deadfish~? ^
@WheatWizard I can help fix/rewrite it if you want (I just want everything in the polyglot challenge to either be on TIO (unless it's outdated))
@Dennis also could you pull Japt (I'm not sure whether it's a good idea tbh, I should probably ask ETH first, but the polyglot appears not to be working in Japt because the version of Japt may be too old?)

6:41 AM
Also not a language but Morse is also part of the polyglot for some reason, probably not a good idea to add this one to TIO

7:11 AM
@ASCII-only the problem is the Japt on TIO is too new

@Potato44 :| oh ok i thought online japt was latest though

8 hours later…
2:45 PM
@MDXF Not sure what 10:30 you were referring to (it's 10:30-ish right now here), but I was asleep anyway.
@ASCII-only Japt wasn't up-to-date on TIO, so I pulled it anyway.
Currently syncing.

3:22 PM
@Dennis Can you pull Gaia?

3:50 PM
@BusinessCat Syncing.

Thanks

4:42 PM
@Dennis I always forget to use UTC times on SE. I fell asleep as well. Anyway, could you pull Cubically? All bugs fixed
@ASCII-only Definitely not, I'm just going to include it in the polyglot driver. It's not a real language
Wow apparently editing messages on mobile chat sends just re-sends them >.<

Yeah, mobile is terrible

Hey, at least there's a mobile app in development

1 hour later…
6:03 PM
@MDXF I pulled it when I posted that message? Did you push since? (Not home right now.)

@Dennis I think I may have asked this before, but do you have any intention of supporting MIPS assembly on TIO? There is a simulator available for Linux called SPIM.

@Dennis Oh, okay. Yeah I pushed since but I'll probably push a few more times today so don't bother rn

@musicman523 Unless you asked in this room, I probably forgot about it. I'll look into SPIM.

Thank you!

2 hours later…
8:35 PM
@musicman523 What would Hello World in SPIM look like?

9:19 PM
@Dennis can you pull Chip? Bugfix.

@Phlarx Syncing.
@MDXF Pulled Cubically as well.

9:32 PM
@Dennis Thanks!

10:01 PM
@musicman523 I installed SPIM and I tried several different programs, but I can't get it to print Hello World, quit, or do anything else.
Nevermind, SPIM appears to be broken in Fedora 26's repos.

10:27 PM
OK, SPIM will take some work.

@Dennis Thanks
