Here the tolerance towards the LGBT was close to 0 from the majority of people. Sure there are people who simply don't care or are even supportive but again... And that's not something that can be changed in a day. A societal change takes some time. It's obviously shitty if he actively prohibits the conscriptions of those people but I'd never expect a trans person to join a military and not get bullied severely.

@Nzall Switzerland and I still have to visit repetition courses for about 10 years. Bootcamp was about 1 year ago.

We had 2 openly gay recruits in our unit who had to be removed because of severe depression after 4 weeks. Out of 500 people about 350 were actively bullying them... There's not much the NCOs or Officers can do to prevent that (also some of them were kinda homophobic aswell).

Now, to be completely honest, hormonal change can and does have results, including exhaustion for first couple months, increased mood swings for first couple weeks, and increased dehydration. HOWEVER, as I said earlier, I know people in military that are trans and they had no issues getting through those on their own, and they're still a great soldier/pilot, and I've personally not heard any reports of excessive hate there.

Tbh I have no clue about what a sex change actually does from a medical standpoint (also I think the medical cost is a BS excuse and I don't really agree with banning trans ppl anyways). But this is just my personal experience from my time in bootcamp.

I just think it will still take some time for society in general to accept people in the LGBT community. We're slowly getting there but forcing it to speed up might cause more harm than good.

@Avery I think something to keep in mind is that HRT is a therapy, not a treatment. It needs to be maintained, and it's not always possible to adequately do so in the middle of a war, both with regards to having enough medication and taking it at the right times

also depending on the meds taken there are coil versions that are basically implanted and make you not need certain pills for months if not years (not sure about duration, but it's long). There's also a cheap surgery that takes care of the need for that med.

and yes, there are implants, but those also have issues. For example, an implant can complicate things when the body part that houses the implant is hit by a bullet

And what happens when that implant has fully dispensed the contents? are you going to recall a soldier whose implant is running out in the middle of a war, potentially disrupting their mission and even their squad?

And if they do it's for very short periods of time. People don't fight in trenches for months like they did in WW I and WW II

You have good points and I'm not sure if premature replacement of implants are possible, but replacement before deployment should remove said issues of fully dispensing the contents while deployed. You do have a point of it being limited in time, so... orchiectomy should solve that. Obviously that should be a choice of the person, but then again, soldiers shouldn't be deployed for *that* long, especially on places they can't receive resources from homeland.

@BlueBarren That's what most people think at first blush, but if you really think about how his passive works, he's super tanky all around.

Although I guess he is weaker to high burst damage than a traditional "I have a lot of armor and a skill that gives a lot of flat armor" tank.

@Yuuki The problem with just having a high EHP, rather than damage reduction, is that you provide the same tankiness, but a lot more enemy ult charge

Also, effective health takes damage reduction into account.

Someone with low health but a lot of damage reduction can have just as much if not more effective health than someone with a big health pool but no damage reduction.

I'm pretty sure Garrosh at 30% health goes down in fewer hits than Garrosh at 100% health.

I'm 100% sure most people would prefer having Garrosh at 100% health at the beginning of a teamfight than 50%.

If he's more effective at a lower health, that also means that it would be optimal if he started a teamfight with lower health.

And I can't imagine any scenario where that's true for Garrosh given what we currently know about him.

For Garrosh to truly be a more effective tank at lower health than high health, he needs some kind of ability that relies on a snapshot of his health which scales to how much he's missing.

saw a powerbook g4 listing called "imac g4", and had CPU listed as "intel celeron duo".

@BlueBarren I wouldn't say so. Yes, large essence healing may be more efficient with less health but IIRC, he doesn't have anything that scales to a lower health pool.

Hmm the kit of Garrosh looks really similar to that from Sion in LoL. At least from the tooltips. I haven't seen a Video.
