@WheatWizard and "Tn" is a more common syntax for triangular numbers than deltas I think, but not a big deal

I know I have one insanely complex answer that I forgot to explain and now I can't even find

user165474
perhaps having a ping-time less than 30000 ms would be nice

@HyperNeutrino There should be anti-troll ISP packages that slow down connections to anyone with caps lock on
;)

I DOS'ed my network with sixteen TTY's pinging full encrypted bytes

um, @Phoenix @Downgoat Mendeleev wants me to correct the misconception that he was suspended for a week, and he was actually suspended for 30 days

@DJMcMayhem /me feels dumb :p

user165474
ok I'm going to restart my chromebook

Question: does the OS allow anyway to go around the memory bounds of a program that would otherwise result in a segfault?
@DestructibleLemon yeah, I saw his profile >_> I think it ends in like 3 days

@DigitalTrauma The last time I attempted to use the Sandbox, the challenge got +3/-0 and two comments (both of which were from Peter, bringing up issues that I fixed) over the course of a week. When I posted it to main, it got closed because of issues I overlooked and nobody pointed out while it was in the Sandbox, and is still not received well despite all of the issues being fixed and it being reopened. I'm thoroughly done with the Sandbox.

Q: Am I using IPv4 or IPv6?

MegoOutput a consistent value if the computer/device the code runs on an IPv4 address, or a different consistent value if it has an IPv6 address. You may assume that the device will have exactly one public address that is either IPv4 or IPv6.

@MDXF and 2 decent questions, 1 more in the sandbox, and one in my head/half-drafted

4:09 AM
@MDXF I've been here for over a year and I only have 65 answers :P

I'm working on doing this one without the string "Code Golf" anywhere
Oh, and I made a language

mine's 6 and 1/3

Quesiton: what is OO pattern to implement a method when the generic argument extends a superclass

Anonymous
True is 1 and False is 0

like in swift you would do:

user165474
4:24 AM
I know, but it will make it into an int so it outputs correctly if you just output it like that

class A<T> {}
extend A<T> where T: MyClass { func methodOnlyForWhenTIsSubclassOfMyClass() {} }

user165474
wait does that mean True * 2 == 2?

Anonymous
@HyperNeutrino Yes

user165474
:O

user165474
Also:

user165474
4:25 AM
True, False = False, True

True is a different spelling of 1, and False is a different spelling of 0. The fact that they can be used interchangeably is of great use in golfing.

user165474
ooo

user165474
ok

user165474
So does that mean that True != 2?

i have no idea how to do that
Probably not possible in Java beacuse of it's VM's architechture

what does your code do exactly?

well I have class Array<T> and I want to have special behavior when T implements Hashable
swift has really nice way:
class Array<T> { ... }

@JanDvorak No, use JS

@JanDvorak I'm doing good with Python and go

In JS, a misplaced semicolon can ruin your day. In Ruby code you'll be hard pressed to find any.

@JanDvorak Unless you write really bad JS a misplaced semicolon does nothing (except if it's in the middle of a line of course)

Just pop one just after if(..) or else
