12:17 AM
Their passwords weren't hacked, only Encrypted. They key for which they kept somewhere it could be pinched by who-ever orchestrated the leak.

4 hours later…
4:07 AM
Hashed* Not hacked. They were very hacked, I guess.

4:23 AM
@Dennis can you add Threead? github.com/TehFlaminTaco/Threead

@Pavel I'd need an example program to check if it's working.

"Hello, World!"o
Or
128[ r ]
    -
1 lco_1

I think I know what the first one does. What should the second one do?

Output every character up to 128

4:38 AM
Um, the first program prints this.
TestTwoThree
Test,
Two,
Three,
I was expecting Hello World...

@ATaco ^
So was I...

Oh, currently custom input files isn't a thing.
Give me a tick to add the command line argument.

Btw @ATaco, could you perhaps modify your interpreters so they can be ran outside the repo's directory? The current state is bit of a hassle for TIO.

(That's mostly due to how Lua hates Imports)
I'm, not sure how to otherwise implement that...
Wait, I think I've got it.
Yeah, I've got it. (Although it is ugly)
Threead can now work from outside its repo and supports command line arguments, so does RProgN, but Haven't synced RProgN yet.

It works from outside now, but it prints this:
Hello, World!
Hello, World!,
Plus a few newlines.

4:52 AM
That's Debug information, it's the three memory tapes.

Any chance you could send the debug information to STDERR?

Easy enough, give me a moment.
Done~

I didn't even have to clear me cache.
tio.run/nexus/threead#@29oZBGtUKQABLFcIFKXyxBE5STnxxv@/w8A I have never seen TIO execute something so quickly.

It's quicker if you try several things in a row because the TCP connection remains open.

5:59 AM
@Dennis can you please pull Threead, if it's not too 3 AM?

It's never too 3 AM for pulling. Hard to mess that up.
Done.

Legend.

2 hours later…
7:42 AM
@Dennis Will we be registering an account specifically for tio, or will we login using Google/some_other_preexisting_account?

4 hours later…

11:24 AM
@Dennis My offer still remains open if you need help developing TIO

12:41 PM
@KritixiLithos I'll offer several options eventually, but I'll start with dedicated accounts.

5 hours later…
5:16 PM
@Mego I'll try to create GitHub repos for the public bits and pieces today. If you want to take care of some frontend things that should be implemented, I could focus on the backend.

@Dennis can you do me a favor? I can't run lua right now, so I can't test a patch I proposed for Threead. Can you pull from here? It shouldn't break any existing functionality. (It adds the commands R and I, read a line and read a number, respectively, so Ro should just output the first line of StdIn)

Anonymous
@Dennis Sure thing! Just let me know what you want done and I'll make it happen.

Will do. :)
@Pavel I'd hate to break an existing interpreter by switching to a repo with untested code. I fon't know Lua (like, at all), but at least the endend on line 87 looks suspicious. Is this really that urgent or can we wait until @ATaco handles your pull request?

No, not urgent.
The endend was already there though.
That wasn't anything I touched

The diff says otherwise.

5:23 PM
Actually, you're right.
GitHub killed a newline there for some reason
I didn't touch anything outside of adding functions

5:44 PM
Ok, so github's builtin editor absolutely fails in MS Edge.
Whenever I make an edit, there's a chance to delete/insert the edit I'm making at a random spot in the program.

@Pavel s/in MS Edge/

10:39 PM
@Dennis can I get a pull of Threead?

@ATaco Done.

<3

11:41 PM
@Dennis another advantage of having the program code inside url is that you do not actually need to visit the site to produce the link. In automation scenarios (say, I'm writing a language primer and providing code samples) it will be much more convenient that having to go to the site , insert the sample and get the link for each bloody sample ;)
@Dennis so the question is, will it be an option?

11:53 PM
@AndrewSavinykh I won't remove the option to create client-side permalinks. The less code my users want to store on the server, the less disk space I have to rent. ;)
Anyway, TIO Nexus will merge into TIO v2 when the latter becomes stable, so any link you generate with third-party tools will work whether the site offers a way to create them or not.
