some of them when they sink (ie die) call out to another who may not even be in the fleet and this is because a lot of the time these lines come from their real life missions when they were sunk protecting that ship or was mainly their guard but watched them sink

So I was thinking, what if the second question in the second link is removed and we reopen the question in the first link. @ʞɹɐzǝɹ can then cut paste part of his answer into the first link as an answer.
This will make it easier for other users who want to know the meaning of 1412 in the title (of the series) as the first link stated it clearly that the OP wants to know the meaning of it, whereas the second link asked that as a sub-question of his question (the diff between Magic Kaito and Magic Kaito 1412).

the best thing I could think of in terms of improving the site is improving what the users subject themselves to on daily basis and doing regular recommendation sessions for new anime, music, movies, whatever else
basically just invite everybody to chat here more often

@Hakase It's cool. I didn't expect to see a post like this, but only because I hadn't considered the possibility. They're just one of the people who would likely have bothered to take advice on id-reqs into consideration, so they're frustrated that we consider most others wouldn't.
