@skiwi Which browser are you using for the file:/// userscript thing? I don't know how to get it to work on chrome.

I probably have a little girl! We had an echo this morning and we do not have a 100% certitude for the gender but the best bet is a girl!

:o congratulations @Marc-Andre!

@skiwi Thank you :D So, we will not name the baby Simon @SimonForsberg Maybe for the next one!

Over here you could go with Simone :P

Over here too, but Simone is more for old people than Simon.
So for the next generation Simone will be ok and Simon for old people :P

Hey @bazola!

grats @Marc-Andre, i bet you are excited :)

I am! a lot! :D

this guy is recommending to solve the performance issue by doing the rendering on another thread
2
A: Unexpected Low FPS while drawing images

JustinAs strange as it sounds, the performance drain really is on this one line of code right here: g2d.drawImage(background, 0, 0, this); The reason is that background is a rather large image, and the g2d is performing a scale and a rotate every time. If you enabled OpenGL via -Dsun.java2d.opengl...

I do not have enough knowledge to say if it's a good or a bad idea :P

3:31 PM
it might work for swing, but i think there are a lot of engines that will not let you do rendering on a background thread

hey @Phrancis
@Marc-Andre Not sure, but if you make a PR she'll have it :P

Ehehe I know but before I work on it I would like to know if there is something!

Uh I hate making UIs now already

@skiwi everyone does (except those JavaScript junkies like @DanPantry)

All I want is my UI to not look like shit :p

8:15 PM
As long as you don't use Swing you should have that part covered ;)
