Has anyone considered if the word SCRUB being in bold is significant?

2:20 PM
Might be... it's the number over SCRUB. A division? Unfortunately dividing for 8367828566 (decimal value of ASCII) or 19318212 (A=1, B=2, etc..) didn't yield anything meaningful
Now that I re-read your question... I didn't value the meaning of the bold character

I'm just trying to think of anything else that might make reasonable sense before just taking blind stabs in the dark

4 hours later…
6:17 PM
She said, "I'm a numbers girl," but are you 100% certain the answer is a number?
2

6:40 PM
@NateGreen she also said:

Me: "Tell me how many digits, at least!" (Thanks, raystafarian!)

Her: "Eight, of course." She kissed me. "I'm going out to look at socks, just in case. See you!"

Yeah, I saw that...just wondering. "ILOVEYOU" is 8 "digits," for example...especially if you punched it into a phone keypad: "45683968"
Stab in the dark, but maybe it'll get someone's brain onto a different track

@NateGreen huh that gives me an idea. Each number on the phone is a note (A-G) right?

I think if I remember right, there are 9 combinations of 2 notes overlaid on each other
(It's not like if you punch 1 through 0 you'll play part of a scale or anything)
Dual-tone multi-frequency signaling (DTMF) is an in-band telecommunication signaling system using the voice-frequency band over telephone lines between telephone equipment and other communications devices and switching centers. DTMF was first developed in the Bell System in the United States, and became known under the trademark Touch-Tone for use in push-button telephones supplied to telephone customers, starting in 1963. DTMF is standardized by ITU-T Recommendation Q.23. It is also known in the UK as MF4. The Touch-Tone system using a telephone keypad gradually replaced the use of rotary dial...
That said, if you punch in the numbers in sequence you might get some kind of melody or something out of it
Can't try it right now, but it's another avenue
Also, wanted to ask @HughMeyers: are "babe," "bad boy," etc. normal things she'd say? How about "dummy" and calling you "dumb"?

7:48 PM
Babe and dummy, yeah. Bad boy was a first.
Ada kids around a lot.
@NateGreen I answered but forgot to at you. :-)

@HughMeyers Thanks.

And she said I should especially pay attention to what she said about herself. Whatever that means.

All the things she said:
"Oh, yeah! Big time!"
"I'm going to make you work for it, babe."
"If you don't think I'm worth it, I can take this down and give you socks. You can use some new socks."
"You know me," she said. "I'm a numbers girl."
"That's why I'm giving you this clue, dummy. But think before you type. After three attempts you get locked out."
"Half serious. Maybe after you've tried twice if you're really nice and you beg really hard..."
"It's a clue. Try thinking. You might like it."
I think " tried twice " might be along the lines of doing something twice or multiplying by 2?

"Half serious" too, then?

3 attempts, Half serious, tried twice
3.52?

8:06 PM
Eh, doubt it, but maybe.

I talked to her sister and she was no help.

@HughMeyers lol now I think you are trolling all of us. Giving us false clues :P
also anyone figure out what/why the picture is of a heart and not anything else? Not sure if thats important or not

Given what @HughMeyers said in a comment when someone asked if it was a real situation or not, I'm inclined to believe it's all made up...if that's the case, then literally anything he's said could be interpreted as a clue. If it is a real situation, let's hope his GF never opens a puzzling.SE account.

@NateGreen He strongly suggested its made up.

8:21 PM
But he's impeccable about staying in character.

@NateGreen You mean like when I told someone she gave me a scientific calculator for my last birthday, that could be a clue? You're blowing my mind!

Okay, I'm slow, I get it. :)
