@epicTCK True. Starting a new world is not completely out of the question (even if it's not necessary, a fresh start is nice), but I'd have to see what other people think (e.g. @Eridan @El'endiaStarman and anyone else who still gets on from time to time.) If we did reset the world, I'd definitely make the old world files downloadable somewhere.

So no need to reset the end

That actually kinda sucks because my base in survival has an ender crystal that I got there the old fashioned way (piston bug) but now that they are craftable it doesn't look cool anymore

@HelkaHomba I'd be really happy with that. My biggest complaint about the server now is that there's nothing to really contribute to, as most large products are done and I can't help out. Also, the Nether is really cluttered and confusing with no major hub, which I think would be really cool to have. I have a couple other reasons, but those are the major ones.

Other new-world options are 1) start a new server using the same funds and keep both running as long as there are funds, or 2) set up a command block or something that will transport people ten million blocks away (kind of a messy solution)

@EasterlyIrk There are also a lot of things on the server that are outdated or need serious fixing, such as the sheep farm and witch farm. Also, it just feels like a lot of things on the server are really disorganized in general.

@Eridan Hmm, I've just realized our plan, the budget package 2, is now a dollar less. Not sure if that's a recent change or they just never told me. Also, I'm not sure we've ever used the one day backup thing that we spend a dollar on. I think I could update the plan so we pay $2.99 instead of $4.98. (Regardless of if we want a new server or not.)

In fact I'll do that today, just after I run a backup. But still waiting for input from more users before deciding anything on restarting.

Another idea is to start a new $3 server today (I don't mind paying) and over the next month see if it or the old server gets more players, but make it clear that the less popular server will shut down when the month is up.

(The current server is paid off until April 6)

And I could still make the worlds downloadable once a server closes

There was a mod that I liked where you could sell stuff you made/obtained to a shop (villager) in return for some sort of currency, which you could use to buy stuff from shops (villagers) as well.
