How the heck do I reply?

@AlexA. I really hope so. And thank you! :)

Yes, I can't figure out replies either :(

@Lynn There is, at least for the site. There's also an app challed ChatSEy if you're on Android.

@Calvin'sHobbies Tap message, then the reply arrow that pops up at the top.

@Calvin'sHobbies On mobile? You can't unless you have the new mobile UI

Oh, I should activate that
>_>
Where do I, though?

I can do it for you lel

Okay

If I design an app to chat via a mobile device, does that infringe on SE copyright?

I just did it for you @Lynn

I am the XKCD feed now, mwahahaha

Whoa whoa! Fancy, this

Fun fact: Lynn is the highest rep user with no gold badges, and one of two 10k+ users with no gold badges (flawr is the other).

@quartata mod abyus eleven

But everything's really tiny, and my iPad won't let me zoom, or something.

@Mego That may be a fact but that's no fun

@ZachGates I'd say no: stackapps.com/q/4659

@Calvin'sHobbies

bronze badges are shinier

That's cool. I just went from 'aw man I'm not part of the gold badge club' to 'I'm the president of a super niche cooler club'.

5:05 AM
Ah yes, Lynn senpai

@Geobits Hmm.. maybe SE would like to buy an iPhone app

10k-no-golds is a way cooler club

@Lynn They disabled it for whatever reason. In Chrome, you can set Force enable zoom in the settings. Maybe there's something like that for your browser.

Getting 10k rep without ever being on for 100 consecutive days or getting a gold tag badge is kinda impressive

You sure alex? Seems same :/

5:06 AM
@ZachGates Good luck. While I'm sure they wouldn't mind it existing, I doubt they're going to shell out for it.

@Calvin'sHobbies Not sure what he did, but I enabled it.

@Mego I have neither 10k rep nor 100 consecutive days nor a gold tag badge

@Geobits Maybe if it's decent enough ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@Dennis I enabled it for him ;-;

Is there a batch-edit way to replace all domains with something else on your posts? I changed my website from vihanserver.tk to vihan.org so now all the TeaScript links are broken...

@Doᴡɴɢᴏᴀᴛ s/server\.tk/\.org/g

For the record, I wouldn't downvote a new quine challenge (well, not for that at least). I also wouldn't answer it.

@Doᴡɴɢᴏᴀᴛ You could connect to the SE API with authentication, loop through your posts, filter to Teascript, s/server\.tk/\.org/g

@Doᴡɴɢᴏᴀᴛ Change the nameserver of your TK domain to CloudFlare (you need a free account) and set a wildcard redirect rule to your new domain.

5:16 AM
@mınxomaτ I just unregistered my TK domain... I'll try to reregister it or else I'll use the API

Or just do it by hand, can't be that much more work.

or I could just wait until someone comments on one of my posts and then I'll fix it
I have like 100 answers that'll need to be updated

Anonymous
If you're using the same service that I use for registering .tk domains, it's really easy to set up a redirect

afaik FreeNom locks unregistered TK's for some time.

@Mego how?

@Mego The authority behind dot.tk is freenom. You cannot set redirect with dot.tk either that also redirect requests, which is what Downgoat needs.

I think that's only you JavaScripters, muahaha.

It's been like 45 minutes -_-

@Doᴡɴɢᴏᴀᴛ I just registered vihanserver.tk and set it to redirect to vihan.org. Once the DNS servers update, it'll redirect.

5:20 AM
@Mego ohhh okay

@Mego Yes, this is exactly why it doesn't work.
vihanserver.tk now redirects to vihan.org, but requests are simply deleted.

It's not redirecting for me yet

@mınxomaτ I really need to remove that Proxy thing. I don't think it even works anymore

@Doᴡɴɢᴏᴀᴛ Yeah, but the problem isn't fixed. All you answers won't work and now you basically have to change every URL in your posts. It could have been a lot easier.

@trichoplax D:

@Mego Please go into your A-Records and set them all to 144.76.167.69. I will put a proxy script on my server to handle the redirect.

Quick, hop a plane headed east! Then it will be later in the day, so you won't want to sleep.

Does it count using the encoding for the language?

No, it's not a byte counter. I'll add that too, but it will take a little more work.
It handles surrogate pairs and stray surrogates correctly though, so that's something.

6:39 AM

You might be able to adapt mothereffin byte counter to suit your needs. It's open source.

It doesn't handle stray surrogates.

The setTimeout() and setInterval() functions, in nearly all browsers, don't let pages specify a delay of under 1000 ms while non-focused
There's one specific page I have open that I'd like to be able to run at full speed even when it isn't focused
And to do that I have to have it in its own separate window instead of just in another tab of the same window

2:38 PM
Hmm. There are a couple SO questions about that. One answer says you can use Web Workers to get around it, but only for limited functionality (no DOM access, etc).
So you could run calculations and such on that, then update the visuals when it's refocused.
Depends on the application I guess.
