@DanPantry Trying to figure out an obscure bug with a certain interface

@Phrancis I'm not sure if you can outscore my bug weirdness

Try me

If you have a Java class with private String foo and public String getFoo(); and void setFoo(String foo);, then Groovy makes things simpler
You can call def str = clazz.foo to call String getFoo()
And clazz.foo(str) calls setFoo(String foo);
And if you really need you could use clazz.@foo to access the real private String foo directly
Now calling in my case .source returned null, but getSource() returned the correct value

7:10 PM
From the bit I've used Groovy with the shortcut get/set I've had to use getFoo() and setFoo(str) when needing to access those
But I think my use case was a lot simpler

Just gonna drop this here for until I get home... dotnetfiddle.net/YdTK4E

Dotnetfiddle? That sounds helpful (certainly easier than having to start up visual studio all the time on my computer)
