According to TV Guide, Rachel Taylor's character in Jessica Jones is her adopted sister, which will be a bit odd if Jessica Jones was adopted by Trish Walker's family...

@MikeEdenfield I don't know how much of this article is talking about the comics and how much is talking about the show. The only mention of Daredevil is later on, and it could be talking about either the show or the comics.

I'm reading the Irregular at Magic High currently cause I thought the anime was great

I hate that so many anime's only have one season

But I do like examining a lot of the Tropes in anime and looking at them from the perspective of the culture and history of Japan, and how it's different from ours.

@ryan Most of the tropes of anime is what puts me off it as an artform so hard.

@DrRDizzle I can get that, some of them put my wife off to. But we've also had a lot of fun discussing them and their origins as well.

@ryan I've been watching Parasyte: the maxim with my girlfriend, and that seems to have managed to avoid the things that make my eyes roll out my head so far.

my favorite anime of all time is probably Avatar: The Last Airbender. Or Hanna Barbera Olympics. Toss-up

@ryan I haven't seen much, but I really liked a lot of Hunter X Hunter, I'm enjoying JoJo's Bizarre Adventure@ Stardust Crusaders and I loved the first season of Attack on Titan.

trigun, fullmetal alchemist (both versions), attack on titan,

knights of sidonia has issues of being too easy to confuse characters, but pretty fun

@ryan - The new films are weird. The first one was very very similar to the first three episodes and the assumption (among fans) was that they'd basically be a shot-for-shot remake of the original show

Then the second film went completely berserk, introducing new characters and totally wigged out.

@ryan good story, the problem is that they randomly switch back and forth referring to people by first or last name, and lots of characters look alike (even ignoring the 8? identical sisters). also, one is fluxing between genders..

@ryan - Watch the show, then watch the movies.

Don't expect to understand the ending. No-one has the foggiest idea what it means, including those who made it.
