@Doorknob I'm not here to argue, I just want to understand. What steps would you suggest I take so I can know what's going on? (To whatever extend I'm allowed, of course)

@BaileyM Insofar as is possible, trust that your moderators are doing the right thing. They were picks for a reason, and their actions are subject to scrutiny from higher up. Discussing things like this in public is rarely helpful, and in some cases may be a detriment to the quick and correct resolution of the issue.

@BaileyM ArtOfCode hit the nail on the head. If you think there's a concern or question we can alleviate or address (and feel free to ask if you're not sure), we'd be happy to do that, though.

If it's not something we can answer, we'll just say that, so don't worry too much about asking questions.

@d'alar'cop I think that's a problem with SE in general not just the mods on this site.

The company's mods view rep pts as if they were money, weighing up proposed actions according to how many rep pts might be lost. Why? Because rep pts are a measure of the amount of collected expertise and therefore of advertising income. So I will be boycotting not only Puzzling but all of SE until @randalthor is reinstated. The mismoderation is obvious, so a boycott could win fast. Someone please post to meta.

It must be really hard to be a mod on this site.
