Q: Hi! I would aprriciate if you correct my mistakes in this essay. Thank you

JonaWhat a beautiful morning! Waking up next to a little angel made me realize how beautiful it is be a mother. A couple who I have not known for very long asked me to watch their 6-month-year old baby for the weekend while they were gone. I was very happy that they trusted me with their little baby...

Q: How to make the reader "accept" ridiculous tropes?

Alexandro ChenA few examples of what I refer to as ridiculous scenes: A psychic gives the protagonist a business letter with only her name - no phone, no address - saying that there's no need to call her. She's the one who make the calls. The Wind-up Bird Chronicles, Haruki Murakami The prota...

So I have noticed that most motivational videos on youtube relate to sports and athletics only.

Only some touch on other subjects/fields.

I had an awesome time last night though!

user116848
Great!

@KitZ.Fox What did you get up to? :D

I'd tell you about it, but I have to get ready for a meeting.
But I'll tell you later. You tell me what you have been up to so I can read it in between stuff.

not a lot. I attached a pannier bag rack to my bike!
I'm trying to encourage myself to get some work done.
I've been bingeing on community
part of the way through season 3
I did a little plotting for my next NaNoWriMo
I keep meaning to do one of the Tuesday challenges

@MattE.Эллен Community is pretty funny. I used to watch it too, but lost the habit.

@Arrowfar it's over now, apparently.

How goes the entrepreneurial stuff?

6 seasons (and a movie)
@KitZ.Fox I'm having an off month

user116848
Yeah.

I'm hoping to get paid for last month...

1:25 PM

it's fine. I didn't want to carry on with the contract I was on
and I have work set up for next month

was that the crappy cms work?

yeah
although I don't know how they'd make Community into a film
would they sit down in a circle and reference American trivia for 90 minutes?

American movie trivia.

user116848
I also enjoyed The 70's show. It was pretty good.

user116848

I am crazy about Arrow and Person of Interest these days though.

user116848
Both great shows.

user116848
GOT is good too, but it kills my mood sometimes :)

user116848
I mean gore and all.

I hadn't really watch Game of Thrones, but I've been watching season 5 and it's not bad
I quite enjoyed Daredevil

user116848
@MattE.Эллен Yes, I am watching it too. It is not bad.

user116848
1:38 PM
I haven't watched Daredevil yet. I think @KitZ.Fox watches it.

It was teh awsum!
Now I'm watching sense8.

@KitZ.Fox I'm not sure how they'd top Fisk for a villain, for the next series (if there is one)

Which is OK. Lots of random graphic sex, which is kind of annoying, and very amerigocentric although it is supposed to be international, but whatever.

Sense8 (a play on the word sensate /ˈsɛnseɪt/, meaning aware) is an American science fiction drama web television series created, written and executive-produced by Andy and Lana Wachowski and J. Michael Straczynski. A first season consisting of 12 episodes has been produced and became available for streaming on Netflix on June 5, 2015. The Wachowskis are responsible for the direction of the biggest part of the show, with the rest of it being handled by a number of people they have collaborated with in the past, including Cloud Atlas co-director Tom Tykwer. Meanwhile this is the first series produced...

Q: Commercial novels, a prefered POV?

hi
I walked to the bar near the place I'm house sitting.
Then I ate food and chatted with the tender. Then I saw a boat when I helped the server carry a food order across the street.
Then I met Ernest and Ernest introduced me to Mike, Curt, and the naughty librarian Lisa.
Then I met Mick and Joyce, the owners.
Then I met Burt and Doug out of Halifax.
Then I met Nancy and Larry (who looks a lot like Stephen) and then Nick, who was a young buck who liked to touch me a lot.
Then Susi joined us and sang a song after Burt and Doug were finished singing.
Then at last call, Darris invited us back to his flat, so we went there for a while.
Then I walked back to the house and passed out.

wow! sounds like a good evening!

I had a lot of fun.

4:21 PM
when did you start house sitting?

um
Sunday. But I haven't stayed there every night.

is it nearer to where you work?

Yes. It's only about 30 minutes away.

that's handy
was it a karaoke night, last night?

nope

4:27 PM
so singing for the fun of it!
did you sing?

A little. I didn't know the song very well.
I didn't know Susi's song at all.

do you know/remember what it was called?

no idea
