@Mr.Bultitude Exodus 34:21 ("on the seventh day you shall rest; in plowing and in harvesting you shall rest") is understood by the Talmud (Shabbos 70a) as an explicit reference to the prohibition against plowing and harvesting grain on the Sabbath (aside from the general exegetical comparison between the labors involved in building the Tabernacle and the prohibited labors on the Sabbath, which includes plowing and harvesting).

The PTIJ season has come to an end for this year. We had a lot of fun questions. I also heard more complaints than in past years, about both volume and quantity. While it's fresh in everybody's minds, please take a look at this meta question and weigh in if you feel moved to:

I was going to make a new "should we change anything about PTIJ for next year?" question, but I think that question is a reasonable home for that discussion. So if the discussion ranges beyond what was brought in the question, that's ok.
