@GiantCowFilms I know a nice render sure will get UVs, but the gif some times (has to have a purpose) and the blend file, well you tell me.

@David Anything that could be put into bullet points gets giffed. (modeling tag = gif)

@David .blend file is only necessary for answers with complex setups to replicate (cycles tag... usally)

Anything to do with rendering needs a pretty render (cycles tag = render time)

Keep the bullet points for modifiers.

@GiantCowFilms I actualy did some data digging in to that, and I found that (nearly) everybody who writes good answers gets 3.5 - 4 UV per answer. Older users got more, because there were more UV going around when the site was younger. The exception are famous people like Jonathan Williamson and Brecht, they get more UV.

Pro-Tip: Tags can give you advice as to what tools you need for your answers to get votes! Cycles, rendering, image, lighting etc: Create a pretty render to include at the end of your answer. Modeling, mesh etc: Create a animated gif. Modifier: bring on the hand drawn cicles

@David Pro-tip: if your answer looks good on paper, write it... after all, nobody will bother to take it off the paper (pseudo pun!)

I can't think how many answers like that I missed cause I actually used to test my answers....
