I'm bordering on quitting this site... It's not going to be that great a resource, the scope is still a little unclear, and I'm being discriminated against. This is ludicrous... My opinions about this site clearly conflict with others, so maybe I will give up.

@Tim It might help your argument on that Meta post if instead of focusing on how it would be illegal in the UK, on how it would be looked down upon everywhere.
There are discrimination laws in the U.S. too, where the SE servers are hosted.
Unfortunately they're more for the workplace, and not general communication so I'm not sure how much help that is.
interestingly the rate of questions on the site has significantly slowed down over the past day or two it would seem heh
I guess the buzz or advertisements of a new site are fading
which is a good thing. It means people can get down to the business of identifying who's in the community vs. who around the site are fly-bys (not sure which I am yet), and then using said community to come up with agreeable rules and moderation practices (if there is a community left)

Since this site has started I feel that we have had too many pointless tags. Most of these tags only have one or two questions. An example of one of these tags is the waking-up tag. There can't be more than three or four questions that could ever be asked about that topic without being a duplicat...
