I'm running this script on a GPU based Server(G2 series on aws) to render OpenGL animations. When I run my script with the GUI it processes my frames in 1 minute, but if the GUI is disconnected it takes 4 times longer to complete the process. Why blender is behaving in this way? Mode based editing makes way more sense imo

It forces certain things into a context

@CharlesL Emacs has modes as well but you don't have to ESC V all over the place but my hands got used to it, its automatic now

I keep my setup minimal, gundo, pathogen, mru, syntastic and a few others. It works.

Hermit font too good as well.

@David No, not out of spite, It seemed to fail to answer the question (I think it was somewhere in there though). I will admit I don't usually DV. I'm just way to competitive... I think it would have been better if you'd cut to the chase in the beginning and added the extra about active object at the end as a footnote, since people like me hate reading whole posts though.
