@user56652 from a type-coverage perspective, you've got two weaknesses to electric, and at least one each for poison, flying and rock. with nothing resistant to those particular weaknesses. A ground/steel pokemon like either Steelix or Excadrill would fill those weaknesses nicely. A Ground/Rock like Golem/Onix/Rhyperior would also work.

@user56652 Ground/Electric could also work, but the only pokemon to fill that niche is Stunfisk... and I just don't really like Stunfisk.

If you use a damaging move, it goes into Blade form, by using King's Shield, it goes into Shield form

also it switches in as Shield form automatically

I found this to be really useful for EV training

Not to mention it feels easier to use Super Training when dealing with non-maxed EV goals.

Easier to count by 4s rather than having to deal with 5 EVs per encounter or Faint 4, Run.

For the majority of players: Super Training > Manual EV Training

I'm wiling to bet that the vast majority of players play the game casually, not competitively.
