70 roads are a luxury to me.

And the cops would sit just over the border. So I'd be flying in at 80mph from Indiana (because 10 over usually won't get you pulled over), then have to drop to 65 for the next 20 miles or so, which roughly took me to Dayton, and then drop to about 20mph average due to all the construction for 30 more miles.

Thus, irrational hate for Dayton.

@Sterno The rule I have heard (and have never been pulled over while following) is you have a maximum of about 15 over, but that limit goes down as the overall speed limit goes up (you can't go 80 in a 65, but 50 in a 35 is usually fine)

60 in a 35, however...

But, no, I don't have to drive through the Dayton construction, ever. So it's not terrible.

It probably isn't the best strategy, but I hated running out of stamina or moving slowly.
