The next big revolution in coding practice might be closer than we think, and it involves helping computers to code themselves. By utilizing natural language processing and neural networks, some researchers think that within a few years we can remove humans entirely from the coding process. It was originally intended to just be a very short one, but it got longer and longer as I kept writing, and now I could use a second opinion on whether or not it makes sense. It's also my first time ever posting on Space.SE, so I don't know if the level of science I used to explain things, was too high (or too low).
