@WillHunting I think they should be stopped.
@WillHunting Mostly because you'll all miss my great jokes posted that get hidden between Feeds
@Mitch The only way to stop feeds is to start famine though.
But famine is terrible, so let's play Free Rice instead. XP

Lori QuinnIn terms of our human desire for perfection, is there a word to describe the person doing all they can with what they know in the moment? (i.e. "Doing all I can do.")

@Tonepoet Madness!
@Tonepoet I take it the Vista one is still loading, huh? :P
@terdon It's more like people keep on rebooting her because they're trying to figure out how to install up-to-date drivers. =P

@Tonepoet Why haven't I seen this whole OS-tan thing. Am I living under a rock?
@MetaEd It has been quite popular within the anime subculture for years now, especially with M.E.-tan, but I would not expect anybody outside of that group to recognize it, unless they heard of Aizawa Inori. She was Microsoft's actual take on such a mascot, albeit as a personification of their browser, instead of any of their actual operating systems.
@Tonepoet I'm impressed by how broad it is. There's my very first computer: RSTS-tan.
@MetaEd Well, it's unauthorized work so people try to make their own and see if they catch on. Apparently there's a wiki where you can read all about the history of it.
@MetaEd Also, how'd you find out it was O.S.-tan if you didn't hear about it before? I didn't mention it by name here. Was it through a reverse image search?
@Tonepoet Image search, yes.
And that led me to the rather amazing wiki.
I still like my choice for MS-DOS better.
He even has the M on the helmet.
@MetaEd No DOS though. Its been a long time since I've watched any Speed Racer. I don't even really remember what it was like.
@Tonepoet It's M for Microsoft and he's small and fast. It's perfect.
The backstory for RSTS-tan leaves a lot to be desired. RSTS is like the Captain Planet of the DEC operating systems. It has not only its own identity but also can take the identity of RT, RSX, DOS-BATCH, and TECO.
None of which is reflected in the backstory.
23:19
@MetaEd Hmm, perhaps you could fill out the details by making webcomics. That's usually how it works:
