@MattE.Эллен Ovaltine: the Nutella of drinks
@Cerberus But the purse of Paris, turned over and emptied, left nothing but old tissues and that lost stick of gum.
Either it's too late or too early. The effect either way is the same.

Hi, can anyone point me in the right direction on the difference between the usage of ":-" and ":"?
For example,
Flow A: - Refunding classes after downtime.
Flow B: - Refunding classes that were disrupted.
Flow A: Refunding classes after downtime.
Flow B: Refunding classes that were disrupted.
Which is correct way ?
07:41
@J.S Just ":" is fine here. Colon followed by a dash ":-" is outdated now and is used in Indian style of writing sometimes.
So your last two examples are good (unless you are in India.)

@Mitch Ovaltine and Milo are just variations of Hot Chocolate which is the real deal.
@englishstudent Even in India, they are good.
@JasperLoy Morning. Sorry I don't understand. Is my explanation above okay?
Oh I got it.
Sorry.
I couldn't process English just now. :)

I often see you getting ejected from the room like a pilot from a cockpit. It looks kind of amazing.
They should change the "leave" button to "eject" button.

@RegDwigнt Mornin.

@RegDwigнt Video not available in my country. The overlay in the cameo says something like "The beauty of Japan drawn with Excel, the challenge of a 76-year-old personal computer painter." Took me a while to deduce "Excel" from "ekuseru" ... when I was learning Japanese there was no such animal.
16:17
@Robusto oh sorry, I forgot your President has outlawed any products from other countries, including videos. My bad.
This one's about an old man who had no money to buy Photoshop, so he just used whatever software he did have at hand. Excel.
Showcasing many of the pictures, as well as a making-of of one.
And he's now giving classes to other elderly folk 90+.

Wow! Who deleted those messages above? NSA?
Anyway, speaking of assassinations when I was a teenager I would always spell “assassination” with a single “s” like “assasination”. Wrong spelling.
Complicated word.
@englishstudent skully deleted his own messages.

Is this correct? (English perspective)
> They are pure-experiences which made of years of working in programming field..! That's what makes them great ..!
"They" refers to some "advises"
No.
You never do ..! ever. That's just wrong.
and what's the correction?
Just a full stop.
after what word
?
And by "advises", I think you mean "advice"?
18:40
oh, yes!
This advice comes from years of experience working in programming. That's what makes them great.
thx

Is this sentence correct?
> Maybe .. But I think even he himself hasn't known what he's doing when he was taking that image. And probably others told him what he has done!

@stack Not wrong, but I'd use ''didn't know''
21:43
@KitZ.Fox did I really now?

When the above two messages get two stars each, you know this chat is running out of interesting things to star. =)
@skillpatrol no, you didn't. Skully did. As well he knows.
Ok. I apologize @KitZ.Fox

Shog9Questions are the lifeblood of any Stack Exchange site. But asking good questions can be difficult, and while most people start off doing it poorly, some never get better.
