And a philosopher friend of the Russian Minister of Defense, who is very close to Putin, published a paper a couple of days ago, in which he calls for an autocratic rule in Russia, with "walling-off" from the West in order to "save the Russian civilization".

Basically a return to a quasi-monarchy, with huge South Korea-style chebols (business conglomerates) closely linked to the state.

This came on the heels of Shoigu's (the Defense Minister) statement that Russia needs to move millions of people to the East of the country and set up several new cities there.

My biggest "THANK YOU" for this wave of terror comes to Angela Merkel and Joe Biden, who allowed Putin to finish the new pipeline. Now he feels himself much less constrained. More freedom to punish countries he does not like by shutting the flow of natural gas and oil.

Lesson Number One in politics. The West will always try bribing off the bully, always at the expence of oppressed peoples and smaller bullied nations.

Ukraine and common Russian people are morons when they try to pin their hopes on the West.

He had been critical of the so-called electronic voting in the election, which turned out to be blatantly fraudulent.

He had created an institute, The Institute of Globalization and Social Movements. This institute has been put on the list of "foreign agents".
