@Cerberus What, five years ago was your youth?

sighs

And a wasted youth it was.
BTW, I still play 2048 when I'm talking on the phone and looking for something to occupy my fingers and part of my brain.

Hmm somehow I always preferred Threes.

Nah. Too trinary.

HOW DARE YOU

12:40 AM
Easy. I just speak without thinking.

@Cerberus I remember, long ago, some much younger acquaintances were talking about hey wow their 30eth was coming up and how life transforming that was going to be, and omigod what are they gonna do with themselves and how they were going to deal with it.
And all I could think was what? 30 is a thing?
I just didn't get it.
It was a long time ago.

Wait, he's 79? I totally don't trust him.

It's teh era of txtspk, dood

@M.A.R.ಠ_ಠ I guess not. It sometimes doesn't work for me either. But this is the best Chrome extension I've used so far.
Even Tor breaks down sometimes (due to the advanced censorship mechanisms or something else, I dunno). But it's even better than UltraSurf. But its mobile app doesn't work on mine!

@Færd Before the censorpocalypse, I used Browsec. Pretty solid, until one day it stopped working
I guess it's one of those single digit rankings Iran can add to its portfolio.

Q: Did global warming exacerbate the Syrian conflict?

matt_blackNewspapers have recently reported that research shows that Global Warming can now be assigned as a major contributor to the ongoing conflict in Syria. For example, The Independent: Climate change was a key driver of the Syrian uprising, according to research which warns that global warming is...

@M.A.R.ಠ_ಠ I guess different VPN providers use different back-alley channels, so it's handy to have a bunch of them at hand.

Cause, heh. So many butterflies in that assumption. It's like saying we created nukes because an apple fell on Newton's head.
@Færd 2 out of 16 VPNs on my mobile work at all times.

What are they?

8:30 AM
SuperVPN almost always works

Do you have to subscribe?

ThunderVPN, GeckoVPN, Psiphon etc. intermittently work as well
@Færd Nope. There is the Premium version but the free version works like a charm, with a couple of usually non-intrusive ads

@M.A.R.ಠ_ಠ The middle one I haven't tried, but the other two have let me down countless times.
@M.A.R.ಠ_ಠ Good to know.
I wonder how Russians are doing with this new internal network project there. The Iranian government are doubtless trying to emulate that. (@CowperKettle)

Reg is Russian too IIRC

But he lives in Germany (most of the time, I think).

8:34 AM
Dunno

@Cerberus Me too. It takes more strategical thinking. And it looks better.

I'm kind of tired, lacking energy to read now.

Q: Are there vaccine ingredients which may not be disclosed ("hidden", "trade secret" or similar)

akrafI sometimes encounter people claiming that there are ingredients in vaccines that can be kept secret by the manufacturer. I would be surprised to hear this, because the manufacturers have to conduct studies which show that the vaccine is safe. How to credibly present a study without showing what ...

I'm having Coca cola vibes here.
I hope they didn't inject soda when I was a kid.

Is there Cola in Iran? O.o

After the operation, though, every fizzy drink tastes bitter for some reason.
@CowperKettle Maybe, or a knock off. Never figured that one out

@M.A.R.ಠ_ಠ You should avoid them.
Bitter? Hmm. Maybe you've developed a deficiency of some vitamin or mineral.

D3 of course
I can't get out, the sun is staking me to give me skin cancer.

I'm taking 20 000 EU of D3 per week
Which translates into roughly 3000 EU/day

3:45 PM
I'm taking 50k. I'm that cool.

You should not take more than 28 000 EU to avoid overdosing
