
Scolopendra cataracta (waterfall centipede) is a species of centipede in the family Scolopendridae that is endemic to Laos and Thailand. It is the first known amphibious centipede, growing to up to 20 cm in length and with a bite described as "agonising" and "excruciating". It is commonly referred to as the aquatic centipede.
