@RegDwighт Yes, Ashley Judd. I did recognize her, but only because I'd recently rewatched Heat and she was fresh in my mind. Still, I had to IMDB her because I wasn't quite sure. She only has a bit part.
@RegDwighт I grew up in that era, so I have a natural interest. But it's interesting apart from that to note how cultural mores have changed since then, and how that was the decade that changed them.
You don’t really know who you are You think that you’ve travelled so far But when you look down At your feet on the ground It looks like you’ve been stuck in tar
@Robusto I still don't quite recognize her now. She is just too damn young. The facial features are all different. And the hair and makeup aren't helping. Basically all I have to work with are the eyes.
@Robusto yeah that's sort of my problem somehow. I mean, here we have some guys who are total dicks, now why should I watch it? It's dumb reasoning of course, and good people have all but convinced me I will love it once I'm up to speed, but I just can't bring myself to start. It's that first step I'm not making.
I've been putting off Game of Thrones, too. So many seasons already, who's got the time?
@Robusto BTW I had looked up Harold Perrineau right away, but didn't recognize him from anywhere. I never watched Zero Dark Thirty, and am not really planning on changing that, and I never watched that crapfest of a crapfest that is Lost. I've seen Romeo+Juliet but can't remember him there.
Oh haha, wait, WTF, he was Link in Matrix Reloaded? K disregard everything I just said.
I would have never guessed it's the same guy. And if I did, I'd expect people to accuse me of thinking that all black people look the same.
@JohanLarsson I used to think that two dots meant a finite list in math like 1, 2, 3, 4,..,9, 10 and three dots meant an infinite list like 1, 2, 3, 4,...
