I'm here, very briefly. Does anyone think there's a random down-voter about? A number of my answers, voted up by others and even accepted by the OP, have been down-voted recently with no explanation. Has anyone else had the same experience?

If they were cast by the same person within a short time period, they will be caught and silently removed by a daily script.

And yes, revenge downvoting does happen from time to time, which is why the script exists in the first place.

It takes more than that, though. It's not just X downvotes within Y minutes. Mods have access to long-term aggregate data. So even if you downvote Barrie once a month for two years, I will notice.

holds when a=b=2 for an example, but the generall rule states that

log(ab) = log a + log b

and this holds for all positive values, for a and b.
