I said that, since Carl lives in a Christian country (and one of the worst), he will (most probably) hardly believe that humanity has a bisexual nature. The fact that he believes that England was a GOOD THING to India kind of proves my point. Brazil has a majority of Christians, but there's also a mix of cultures (like India), which helped us to have a few improvements in such things. And we abolishing sodomy laws 137 years before your country probably shows that.

Also, Brazil is far more Christian in the south than in the north. In the south, people hardly believe we have a bisexual nature. In the north, people practice this bisexual nature, they don't just believe it. But Carl preferred to flee the discussion "offended" with obvious statements (UK sucks, just like USA sucks, just like southern Brazil sucks); it was probably the easiest way to avoid having to confirm what I have said, i.e. that he would hardly believe what I said. Let it be.

I don't expect mature reactions from Europeans who think they are the smarter people in the world.

Other important thing: you both live on the heritage of your ancestors, who have stolen half the world. You should give at least part of that back, THEN you'll have no need to apologize.

Yes Brazil decriminalised homosexuality long before the UK, congratulations, but you reduce a country to a single fact - it is a ridiculous way to describe, compare and criticise entire nations of people...

over 5000 people were killed by police in Brazil in 2017, that's more than in the UK, does that mean your country is one of the worst countries in the world? No. Maybe go and read the human rights watch report on Brazil...

maybe reflect on your seeming anti-European complex... maybe reflect on the way you prejudice your opinions of people based on nationality, race or religion.
