A: How to transform any expression of the form $x^2 + ax + b$ into $y^2 + c$?

Ak19 $$x^2+ax+b = x^2+2x\frac{a}{2} + (\frac{a}{2})^2 - (\frac{a}{2})^2 +b = \bigg(x-\frac{a}{2}\bigg)^2+\bigg(b-\big(\frac{a}{2}\big)^2\bigg) \equiv y^2+c$$

Hmm, does it exactly equal, or it is equivalent to it?
Thanks, corrected it!
Glad to be of any help, haha
+1 for you too!
Thanks a lot, sir

I'm only 18, pls don't call me sir
And I'm 17. Well, Glad to have a friend here!
Thank you,
Are you doing Bachelors in Physics?
No. I'm still in Grade 11. From India so, I can't do Bachelor until 18
We have age restrictions
And when I do, I'll choose Maths.. Love that subject hehe
I'm also in India, I just thought about your curiosity in Physics and asked that. Don't mistake me.
Oh.. Yes, I love Chemistry too. But I want to go with Maths, maybe because it is the subject which allows me to do everything related to Physics and Chemistry?
Math is my favourite branch of science (if you consider it as science)
