I like universal G-space!

A friend of mine (studying perturbative QFT) asked me if there are computational applications of factorization homology. I guess the first thing to consider is to construct a SS computing the output and also to understand the effect of homology operations present in e.g. the disk algebras inputs. I couldn't find any result in this direction by searching briefly, though. Perhaps these are already built-in to the framework? Or are these just nonsense or useless?

@NarukiMasuda hi! I'm not sure if this is exactly what you had in mind, but there are a few papers out there which show that some particular class of examples of factorization homology coincides with a TFT-like invariant of manifolds defined in a different way. These invariants then have computational applications in geometric topology. (Ai-Kong-Zheng arxiv.org/abs/1607.08422; Kirrilov Jr-Tham arxiv.org/abs/2002.08571)
this is much more related to "computational applications of factorization homology," but I don't believe these papers discuss homology operations like you mentioned. I don't know of any work to that end but that's not a nonexistence result!

how would a prehistoric topologist who didn't know about convenient categories of topological spaces show that $|X \times Y| \to |X| \times |Y|$ is a weak homotopy equivalence?
