@AndreSilva The contact needs to come from the other direction, but I think the post below describes your options. Private messages are rare and are intended for serious infractions by users. I've never used a private chat room so I can only assume that they are still available.

A: How do I contact a user privately, as a moderator?

Adam LearUsing a private off-site email is inappropriate in 99.99% of cases. In a year of moderating, I've never had to do that. It's an option that should only be considered if all else fails (see below). In the event that you do have to send a private email, be sure to bcc [email protected] on...

Hello all, I am getting troubles to get a heat-map generation right, and my previous question about it looks like a Tumbleweed. How should I formulate the question to make it possible to be answered? I know the nature of data I have and the client's expectation.

@PolyGeo, alright thanks. Following the advice there (/cc (@Midavalo, @Aaron, @whuber, and all other mods), I will post here in a generic way, but with sufficient details you can investigate. This is about a top ranked user in the review queues, reviewing posts in a suspect manner. The user has a history (I can send the links to respective discussions here in chat and meta as well, if you want to). I also have collected some links of recently really bad reviews (can post these too). continues..
But to prove my point none of these links are necessary. continues...
Just look at his/her review history and actions taken in 'first posts': when some action is taken the history registers 'reviewed'; when none action is taken, it is 'no action needed'.
His/her history shows 100% 'no action needed' (checked at least most recent 10 pages in the history, but there is much more). He is just clicking the button, climbing the rank and let all the work to be handled randomly outside the queue (possibly by moderators). Imagine this user being candidate in an election, people will think he/she reviews a lot (by the rank) and is doing a good job.
I dislike being a snitch but I think this suspect behaviour might be impacting negatively our community and I suggest it is worthwhile to investigate. Now I leave this into your hands (mods). Tks.

@AndreSilva I had no inkling that this was happening but I'm investigating now and I think I can see what you mean. Thank you for bringing it to our attention.
