I'm not sure if this is off-topic or not? My virus scanner just flagged an ArcGIS Desktop file as a potential threat - IDP Alexa. Worth posting as a question, sending to Esri, ignoring or deleting? Thanks
@StephenLead I would probably try to submit it to AVG support with a CC to Esri support, and let the two companies sort it out between them. A question on Main along the lines of "Ignoring IDP.ALEXA.46 threat from ArcGISIndexingServer.exe by AVG Antivirus FREE" would I think be on-topic, even if it only elicits an answer like what I suggested to do, but hopefully something more detailed.
I saw in this question that it's not possible to close a document in ArcMap: gis.stackexchange.com/questions/69263/… Does this cause memory issues when opening subsequent MXD files?
