I suppose that the users who participated in the discussion have already tried Wayback Machine. But since you have mentioned that you have a script for this purposes, I thought it was worth asking you anyway.

@Glorfindel Well, of course - that's not what I meant by using the script.
Although I assume that some of the users who joined that discussion already tried to check Internet Archive manually - it's possible that you have a way to quickly check whether some images are salvageable from there (and they have perhaps been missed by the users who just looked at a few snapshots).
I have also looked at saved version of some posts myself - but the images were missing in the ones that I checked.
