Q: How does one handle books without errata?

Selene AucklandMy situation: My book is Differential Forms in Algebraic Topology by Loring W. Tu and Raoul Bott of which An Introduction to Manifolds by Loring W. Tu is a prequel. Neither of which appears to have an official errata list. However, the prequel has an unofficial errata list, and the few errors I'...

One of the comments says:
Actually, thanks, but who cares about proposing this if errata questions are actually allowed in MO? — Selene Auckland Jun 10 at 5:52
I am not sure to which extent this conclusion is correct. Are actually questions posted with the intention to collect errata of some book on-topic on MO? Were there some discussions about this on meta/tea.
There is (famously) the question Errata for Atiyah-Macdonald on MO. This one is related to the about thread on Mathematics Meta: Errata for Bott and Tu's book “Differential Forms in Algebraic Topology”.
Some past related discussions about this on meta: Can Matematics S.E. be used to report errors of a text book? and some of the questions linked there. Possibly also this post on MathOverflow is worth mentioning: Errata database? (Repost of a comment which was removed during migration.) — Martin Sleziak Jun 3 at 14:32
The question Errata database? on the main site is somewhat related.
I see that a few more questions of this type are listed in: Tag for errata of books

Q: Tag for errata of books

ShamisenNavigating MO, it is possible to view two kinds of questions regarding errors within a book. The first kind are community-wiki questions which answers are a collaborative listing of found errors in a book (e.g.: Errata to Principles of Algebraic Geometry, Errata for Atiyah-Macdonald, Erratum for ...

So there some questions with errata on MO (most of them found using the above threads):

Q: Errata to "Principles of Algebraic Geometry" by Griffiths and Harris

SpecRGriffiths' and Harris' book Principles of Algebraic Geometry is a great book with, IMHO, many typos and mistakes. Why don't we collaborate to write a full list of all of its typos, mistakes etc? My suggestions: Page 10 at the top, the definition of $\mathcal{O}_{n,z}$ is wrong (or at least wri...

Q: Errata for Atiyah-Macdonald

Tim CampionIs there a good errata for Atiyah-Macdonald available? A cursory Google search reveals a laughably short list here, with just a few typos. Is there any source available online which lists inaccuracies and gaps?

Q: Erratum for Cassels-Froehlich

Kevin BuzzardEdit 25 April 2010: I have a physical copy of the new printing of the book. I can only assume the LMS is now selling it (but have no details). IMPORTANT EDIT: THE RESULTS ARE IN! Ok, the deadline has past, I've spent days going through the results, and I have collated them all here: Errata for C...

Q: Erratum for Fulton and Harris

Ben LimI am currently using Fulton and Harris for a course on representation theory, and I have noticed that there are a few errors throughout the book. A search on google with the keywords "Errata for Fulton and Harris" doesn't come up with anything. I believe the book is widely used in many represen...

Q: Errata for Bott and Tu's book "Differential Forms in Algebraic Topology"

Selene AucklandMy book is Differential Forms in Algebraic Topology by Loring W. Tu and Raoul Bott of which An Introduction to Manifolds by Tu is a prequel. Is there a good list of errata for Bott and Tu available? A cursory Google search reveals not much except this: Some possible mistakes in Bott and Tu, and ...

The question More errata for Goldfeld and Hundley, Automorphic Representations and L functions…? linked in one of the threads on tea has been deleted since then.
