Only now I realized that also the question I have answered is shown in the HNQ list: Can the supremum of continuous functions be discontinuous at every point of an interval?

It seems that there is a deleted answer to that question - mathoverflow.net/a/309573. Just out of curiosity - does that answer say something interesting?
