It is a bit unclear where to ask whether a question is suitable for MO. (Some people do it in chat, but as you can see, it's not frequented that much.) Meta: How can I tell if my question is appropriate to MathOverflow or if I should just put a bounty on it at Math.SE? and Thread for asking about suitability of math.SE question on MO?.
Just to avoid confusion - the latter link was a suggestion to create such a thread and it seems that the response from the community was: No.
Also quid wrote this in his answer to Mathematics Meta question: What qualify questions to be in mathoverflow and not in math.stackexchange?
